R&B is a genre dedicated to the lovers and heartbroken of the world. This concept of “rhythm & blues'' derives from the soul. Drananda Summons has, and continues to develop eclectic soulful R&B for his Global fanbase. We sit with him as he discusses one of his popular soul hits “Refusal”.

This was a super fun song to do because I was able to not only receive the message, but also receive the music video vision that I have for this song. I look forward to producing the visual side to it because I’m learning how visual art has a relevant impact. Every time I connect with someone about refusal they can relate to that one person that no matter what life may have thrown at them, they just refused to let that person go. If you’ve ever genuinely been in love with someone you’ve carried these feelings within your heart to a great capacity. Letting them know that you refuse to let them go and I believe that that is one of the strongest forms of love when you refuse to let someone go and you want to provide them with more love.
