Since the Spring of 2021, Drananda Summons has revolutionized a unique, yet universal Soul sound. We sit down with the Singer/Songwriter to receive insight into the origin of his music career.
When did you start making music?
I developed my first music project on April 21’ titled Butter$Cotch. From there I knew that music was the art I wanted to create for the rest of my life. It was a growing process. I had to go through a lot of trial and error before successfully developing the album project.
It taught me a lot of foundational work as an artist from the recording side to songwriting & development, feeling the musical composition, and all of the ingredients that make the best sound for a song.
It opened my mind to the music industry's reality and how you must work very hard and be realistic to continuously push and press to represent your brand to the most significant height it deserves. Also learning how to believe in me, trust me and constantly conquer big and small obstacles to build the best music brand for Drananda Summons.
